Alexa at the end of the Dance Week. Their teachers' gave them a "Diploma of Achievement", a rose, and a medal. The kids had a blast.
Two girls in our ward, Tiana and Tallie sent out a flyer for a Dance Camp. It lasted a week and was an hour a day. The last day they had a performance with refreshments. It was so fun for the kids and those girls did a fabulous job teaching!!! They had an older group (Aubree's) and a younger group (Alexa's). The older girls danced to "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid. The younger girls danced to "Beauty and the Beast".
Aubree really enjoyed it!! The peformance was in the morning and that afternoon she asked, "When do I go to my dance class again?"
She has a little "sass" in her.
Alexa's song was very sweet. They had the girls' twirl by themselves, twirl with a partner, and circle with the group and do a couple of other things. At the end they all pretened they fell asleep. It was cute and she did a great job.
Alexa's twirling partner was Zoey. Her group was supposed to wear a dress-up dress. They even put make-up on the girls' before the performance.
