Short Sleeves and Sunburns

It has been absolutely georgous in Las Vegas the past couple of days. We have spent the majority of our time outside. We are blessed to have great friends who live in neighborhoods with private parks. We spent time with them yesterday and today. After being out in the sun for a day, I had a burn/tan mark on my neck from my shirt. I wanted to take a picture and put it on the blog to kind of rub in how nice it is here sometimes. That is definetly one of the good things about Las Vegas. You see, I have to focus on the good so I won't get homesick. In these pictures, Aubree and Erick both climbed in the "ball bucket" and were eating chips. Aubree is so good to her siblings. I feel so blessed that Heavenly Father gave her to me!!! When the other kids get hurt, they run to their sister, Aubree, not mom. Aubree is a pretty special little girl.

This is the best babysitter EVER!! They are tearing up the street in front of our house and doing something with the water. Erick has been amazed. He loves to look out the front window and say, "truck". He is just learning how to pronunciate the "k" sound. He is adorable.

Flu Season

Officially the Flu Season hit the Robinson household. I don't know if I would call it the actual flu. To me "the flu" is throwing up. We've had fever's and bad coughs. The fever comes first. Mine is going on three days now. Jason and Aubree (5 yrs old) got it first, last Monday night. I started feeling it last Thursday. Erick (1 year old) woke up this morning (Saturday) with it. Alexa (3 yrs old) has managed to not get it yet. I consider that a "mini miracle". I am really grateful for that. I need to be completely better to be able to take care of her when she gets it. For those of you who don't know Alexa, she has had a bark/croup cough since she was 6 mo. We have tried everything for her and we have taken her to many different doctors. Anytime she gets any type of sickness it immediately turns into "her bark". During the winter she doesn't even need to have a sickness to have "the bark", it's a constant thing. So for her not to have gotten this yet, really is a "mini miracle". One good thing about this is the compassion that Aubree is learning. She never has understood Alexa's cough, but now Aubree's cough is keeping her up at night. It's good for her to know what Alexa is always going through. I actually feel quite blessed. This could be so much worse. We'll just need to lay low for awhile and rest. We'll get better (Aubree and Jason almost are). We'll just continue to pray for health for sweet Alexa, this could be bad if she gets it.

Erick Again

Just in case you're wondering, Yes, I do love my girls too!!! I will post pictures of them soon. It just seems like he is an imp and always gets into everything. We made rice krispy treats and he made a royal mess of his. But, he enjoyed it!!!

Potatoe Pearl Paradise

Erick got the can of Potatoe Pearls out the other day. I was upstairs and I was getting awefully suspecious because he was being too quiet. I came down and found a potatoe pearl paradise with a mashed potatoe mess. Aparently he pushed the can over to the fridge, stood on it, and pushed the water thing so water was in front of the fridge. Then I guess he decided to open it and try some. When I came down, he was throwing handfulls of it and watching it roll across our floor. Every once in a while he would try a few. I had to laugh when I came downstairs. I got out the camera, took a picture, then moved him so I could clean it up. As we speak, Erick is sitting on my lap looking at what I'm about to post and saying, "yum, yum!" I think he quite enjoyed the experience.

President's Day Weekend

We went to Cedar City for President's Day weekend. We had a blast spending time with all of Jason's family. It was an added bonus that my parents were down friday night for a basketball game. We were able to spend time with them too!!! I don't have much I want to say, I just wanted to express gratitude for a loving Heavenly Father who has a plan for each of us. We are so blessed. I will post some pictures soon.
