Sweet Blessings of Obedience

Erick has this thing with sticking stuff in his ear. This is an earfull of soggy Chex. No wonder he always has ear infections.
Alexa finally did it!!! She saved up enough points to go bowling!!! What a blessing, way to go Alexa!!!

I'm not sure why this picture got moved over, but I do know it was a mistake. You know us, something is always mixed up.

Aubree at the bowling alley. We all had a blast.

Look at that gangly girl! But I did pretty good. Alexa didn't push her ball hard enough three times. It stopped on the lane. I had to hit it with my ball on my turn. So she killed my score, but I don't really care about that. My girl's learned the lesson of reward for obedience and hard work. They are already saving up for their next blessing.

Jason's a great bowler!

Aubree and Alexa sitting on the ball holder. They thought it was their own personal table. Erick was in the stroller the whole time. He was great. He would clap for us. Since bowling, Aubree earned enough points to rent a movie. So we went to Hollywood Video and rented some Barbie FairyTopia movie. She loved it. After we rented the movie I took them to the dollar store and they each got to choose 1 candy to eat during the movie. I have the best kids!! I love them so much.

We Made It

This is Alexa doing her chore for the week. We have a chore chart with blessings that come if they earn points by completing their work. Alexa wants to save up her points to go bowling and Aubree wants to rent a movie. They are both really close, so next week might be a party week with all the blessings they've earned.
After I got back from camp the girls wanted to make Carmel popcorn. They got all "duded up" in their cooking stuff to help me.

We had a yogurt episode a couple of days ago at our house. I had just mopped the floor (it had been awhile because I was crazy busy with Girls Camp). The kids wanted yogurt. I got two bowls out and filled them each with a different kind of yogurt. I went upstairs for something and when I came back down Alexa had flicked her spoon back and forth with yogurt on it. Needless to say, yogurt was everywhere. I was grumpy. She helped me clean it up. I went upstairs for something else and came back down and Erick had reached on the table and pulled the other bowl down to the floor. He was sitting in it and eating it. He was having a good time. I moved him, then I wished I wouldn't have before I took the picture. So here are the two pictures I did take.

GIRLS CAMP

Our theme was Gratitude. These were our message boards with magnets on them out in front of our banner. Too bad it rained most of the time so we couldn't write notes to one another. But they were cute!!!

This is Sister Penrose. She was our Camp Director. She is such a spiritual GIANT and a good friend. I love her.

The "Pre-Camp" picture. We all looked dang good to start with. Then we got rained on all week and didn't look quite as perky when we came home. Although, my naturally curly hair LOVED all that moisture. I had ringletts everywhere. What a great time we had. I love all of these girls and the leaders we went with. I feel so blessed to have been a part of it!!!!!
Thanks for the memories girls'.
