This is all the good stuff I got at DI the first trip I went. I've gone two more times and found more fabulous things!!!! In this picture there are many things that I took and painted and used as candle stands. Some of those are shown in the next picture.
I love the way those turned out!
The next two pictures show the FABULOUS door I bought. It is not done yet, I still need to paint it. I am going to paint it Itilian Green. When I was paying for it I had a couple of people ask me what I was going to do with the door. This is just the begining for it. I plan on finding a cute chair that I can put a modern print on the seat and some throw pillows on the chair to complete the corner. The door was $10.
I didn't find the cute head wraps at DI, I made them. This was my first attempt. I made up the pattern. Since then I've made three more and I think I have a better pattern. I love them!!! They are super cute and my girls' love them too!!! What's even better, I learned how to crochet the flowers on them and we can mix and match colors. I used to love to crochet. I learned how to crochet when I worked at Zion Ponderosa Ranch and Resort on the East Rim of Zion National Park. I've only made blankets before. I haven't picked up the hook or yarn for a good 4 years. I've had so much fun getting them out again. It helps that I've found something cute to make that won't take me a year to complete!!!! These don't even take an hour.

So cute Amy! I love it when you find great stuff. I love the door, and way to go with the headbands. I can't believe how big your kids have gotten. I miss you!
Way cute!! It makes me want to learn to crochet!
Thanks for commenting about the toddler bed! My sister thinks I am nuts, but I know that Dallin will do fine in it. He is a great sleeper. By the way, all your finds at DI are amazing! Isn't it fun taking old stuff and making them better? Also LOVE your crochet headbands. SOOOOO Cute!!!
I so want one of those. I will pay you for it if you would make me one! I LOVE it! All the girls down here at SUU are wearing those!
