Fun little "Remember Game"

Here is a fun little game...Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time, or a long time, anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.On your mark...get set...blog your memories!!

Okay lets see where to start. We really do have so many memories together. how about doing backhandsprings all the time whenever and wherever we were. Having endless sleepovers at your house and then mine. Going swimming at Snow College, and quite possibly my favorite(although its hard to pick a fav) Meeting boys at teh movie Robin Hood and having them be our boyfriends. Did we ever break up with them? I love you too!

When I think of you I think of sports! Especially basketball!!! We had great memories together playing sports.

I remember when your dad and Jim coached our Jr. Jazz team. We were awesome. They were GREAT coaches, I learned sooo much from them.

My favoirte memory of you is when we were warming up for a basketball game. You were rebounding and I was doing a layup. I came down on your foot and rolled my ankle so I was out for 2 weeks with a sprained ankle. You felt soooo bad. It wasn't even your fault you just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. But that is what I love about you. You are always so concerned about others and thier well being.

You have always been a great friend and basketball companion!!! Thanks for being such a good example to me!

A funny thing that happened on my doorstep just this morning...(I, too, had a hard time narrowing it down, but this one sums us up) You picked Heather up for Cheer Camp and brought my newspaper to me. I asked you if there was anything good in it - you said you hadn't gotten there yet - the sports section. I said I read everything BUT the sports section - you said - that's ALL I read!! How are we friends??? A good balance, I think! *HUGS*

I remember family birthday parties at your house (they were the best), rolling Easter eggs up 6-mile canyon, an many more. One thing I remember about you the most is, even as a very small girl, you were always the little mother that took care of the babies, even though they were not much younger than you!

When I think about Amy I think about love and compassion. You were always so nice to everybody and wanted to include everyone. Your optimism and hope have always been an example to me. I always looked forward to Christmas, birthday parties, Easter, etc. because we would almost always end up with a sleep over and "Girls Just Want to Have Fun!"

Amy, Yes I'm so glad that we aren't in charge of the reunion this year! It sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun! I'm excited!

One memory that popped in my head was I think a Sadie Hawkins dance. We took our dates out to Denny's at like 5:30 a.m. I remember waking our dates up (Dallin and Ryan) it wasn't a pretty thing. That was a fun date though!

I also remember serving with you on a few presidencies. I remember getting our picture taken for the year book one year. We went up the canyon. The was one picture of all three of us (You, me and David Bradley) We were holding hands and jumped off of a rock. I know that is random, but I loved that picture. I think it is in the yearbook if you want to look at it.

Thanks for your friendship! Your a great person! I only have good memories!

Amy,
I too remember playing the car game with you all the time when we were little! That was so much fun. My parents still have a swing on thier porch that we sit on sometimes! I have a lot of memories in elementary especially. I remember playing over at your house all the time and playing dolls and going over to the Parry's. It's so fun to reminise. Hope all is well!

Yeah, my memories of you are mostly about basketball too, Amy. I remember your sweet post moves under the basket. I was glad I didn't have to play down under there against you!! All this memory stuff sure makes me miss the team, though. We had a lot of fun, huh!

I will always remember the fun time we had when we stayed with you and your folks in Mt. Pleasant! It was so fun to see how to 'really live!' You showed this city girl the sweet and simple pleasures of life. Thanks for opening up a whole new world for me!

I remember going through some old papers and finding a postcard, must have been from when my parents first separated and I ended up in FL, and in cute little kid handwriting I told you how much I missed you and couldn't wait to see you again...obviously it wasn't ever sent (thanks mom). We had so much fun as kids! There was the time we were in the bath together...obviously really little kids...and I told you that conditioner was supposed to be first and shampoo was second. Oh...I also remember that Grandpa Ericksen would turn down his hearing aids sometimes when you were around...HA! You have always been so boisterious and have had such a zest for life...it is contagious. I love and miss you.
